A spectrogram has three axes: the horizontal axis represents time, the vertical axis represents <a href=\"http:\/\/blogjam.name\/sid\/?page_id=824\">frequency <\/a>and the density of marking represents the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogjam.name\/sid\/?page_id=807\">intensity <\/a>of the signal at a particular time-frequency co-ordinate.
