Shrinking words

There are some words which have a common pronunciation which is considerably shorter than the spelling would suggest. Some of these have more than one reduced pronunciation, but in the examples below I have just given one for each.

particularly pəˈtɪkjəli
probably ˈprɒbli
veterinary ˈvetnəri

Of course you don’t have to use these pronunciations yourself, but you will certainly hear them from native speakers.
